Prayers needed...

Two weeks ago tomorrow, one of my students was injured in a terrible car accident. She has held on and fought so hard. Things are getting really hard for her now and she needs a lot of prayers! I have Jamie 1st and 7th period at the high school and my heart is broken for what she is going through. Please pray with me that God will work a miracle in her life, one way or another and that HE will be glorified. You can check on Jamie's status at carepages.com by searching for jamiemechelle.
I love you Jamie and think about you constantly. I have a stack of your papers that are graded just sitting on my desk. I can't quit looking at them. I still have the picture you drew for me and Joleigh:) hanging up right by my desk and I pray for you every time I look at it. I love you sweet girl and pray so much that God will heal you! I pray that you wake up and see how much everyone is pulling for you!

We are now number....

I am SOO hoping next week we'll make it to the 30's. There are several families in front of us that are wanting an infant so we're really not so far down the list. Only a handful will take an older toddler.

Hard to believe...

you're TWO! We celebrated Piper Jane's second birthday last night. We had a cookout with all the family and then watched the new Ice Age on the back porch. It was a beautiful night and lots of fun!
Piper... You are so sweet! You are very well behaved (almost always;), funny, kind and beautiful! You are a gift from above to each one of us. Mommy and Daddy adore you and the boys can't get enough of you!

Journaling

I bought some journals about a year ago to write entries for the kids. Each kid has one and I bought an extra for me to journal in. The first page of "my" journal was some scripture and a prayer that God would open the eyes of our children's hearts. That journal has now become Joleighs:). Today I sat out on a blanket and wrote in each child's journal. I write about what they're doing now, what they want to be, their prayers, my prayers, etc. It's such a fun time to just reflect on who they are and I really hope it's something they cherish as they grow. Andrew, Parker, Piper, Joleigh... I love you more than words can say and I hope the words I write in these pages touch your hearts and point you to Him. We are blessed to have you!
