Shooting stars...

Last night we stayed up with the boys and watch the meteor shower. It was SO fun. We have a parachute that I laid out with pillows and just laid down and watched the stars. The boys were super excited because they had never seen a shooting star. Cam hadn't really seen many, either. I, however, would like to say I'm a meteor shower pro;). My dad and I use to lay out in lawn chairs and watch them. Some of my greatest memories. My dad actually watched them last night while he was fishing on his dock. The boys were a little impatient at first and really sad when they missed the first couple but they grew very excited after seeing their first. I hope it's a night they'll always remember. I know I will!

They're so much fun...

We've had a wonderful morning! I told the boys we would have an award ceremony:) this morning and we also made some crafts out of some of Sissy's old Baby Puff treat containers. Both boys had the best time and Sissy had fun emptying one of the containers;). The boys LOVE craft time. Since our school is a green school, they're always making crafts out of "trash" so I'm trying to come up with new "trash" crafts we can make. We have a recycle box and I've been digging through it trying to come up with ideas. The boys are the KING recyclers. They love it. After we made our crafts they whispered to each other they wanted to clean the house for mommy:). They kept walking around picking up trash saying, "this goes in the trash can and THIS goes in the recycle box". They were also cracking me up when they were picking up the dirty clothes. I heard Andrew say, "no, Parker... you have to smell it to make sure it's dirty". He then took a big whiff of some of Sissy's pants and went "shooowey, yea, that's dirty".

Water Fun

The boys have had the best time today playing in the water. Cam and I bought this cool little sprinkler thing in the 99 cent section at Target. Great, cheap fun:). I'm hoping to go swimming tonight when Cam gets home. My mom had the boys for a while yesterday so I was able to go by myself for a bit:)... have I mentioned how much I LOVE SWIMMING??!! Poor little Piper thought she was left all alone because I had the monitor on so I could hear her when she woke up.. guess it would've helped to have the monitor on the right channel. Uho!! I did come to check every once in a while and she was still sleeping but when I came in she was crying pretty hard and I realized the monitor was set to the wrong channel. I will say though that I really enjoyed the relaxing alone time:) sorry Piper!

Sleep Deprivation...

I'm sO SlEePy!!! God is definitely preparing me for baby Piper. I haven't really slept over 3 hours a night for the past 3 weeks. Obviously I'm not sleeping because my belly is so big, it's hard to get comfortable. Also, horrible indigestion and I'm battling a sore throat and an earache:( My sweetest reason I'm not getting to sleep has to do with my widdle boys:) Andrew always comes in to snuggle early in the morning, around 4:00 or so. Well, this morning, he brought a friend. I saw Andrew's head bobbing in the dark and then a shorter version bobbing behind him. Yep, it was Parker (Tar Tar). Andrew climbed up on one side and Parker climbed up on the other side of me. We noticed Parker's pj's were wet so Cam took him to get some new ones and he was sleepy enough that he didn't mind getting back in his own bed. While Cam was with Parker, I asked Andrew why Parker came with him (it was the first time this had happened). He said, "Oh, I woke him up and told him he could come with me to sleep with mommy:)". How sweet... of course it wasn't too sweet that early in the morning but I can just imagine Andrew waking up Parker to come snuggle mommy.

What a beautiful day...

It is such a beautiful day outside. I think the high is going to be in the mid 70's. We all played and hung out in the backyard. Andrew enjoyed throwing his fishing pole and he's quite good at it. It has a clothes pin on the end so it gets stuck on the grass and he acts like he's reeling in a big bass or crappie:). Parker had fun drawing with chalk and making funny faces:). Cam and I are going out tonight while his mom watches the boys. Our dates usually consist of going out to eat, shopping at Wal-Mart or Target:) and then having dessert at the San Francisco Bread Company. They have great cheese cakes:). **(Is it possible to use too many smiley :) faces in one post?)**

Let's play ARRRRHHH!

I put some of these pics in the slideshow below of Parker's birthday but couldn't resist posting them separately:) Andrew's face cracks me up, he was definitely in character. After they finished playing, Parker went up to Andrew with the swords and kept saying "Let's play ARRRRHHH".
