Just in case you were wondering...

we're still trying to win the war against the brown recluse that are invading our home. Our bug guy came out on Friday and fogged the house and attic. Since then we've found several dead brown recluse and even some dead BABIES!!! great.... no telling how many babies there are crawling around here!!! I was pretty excited thinking that the fog killed them all but then we found some in our glue traps and they were still alive, stuck like there's no tomorrow BUT still ALIVE!! Ugghhh... one of them was in a glue trap right by the foot of our bed. Needless to say I didn't sleep much last night. So since yesterday we know that we have at least 8 less LIVING brown recluse in the house.

Today we were eating fried shrimp and Andrew took a bite and the entire shrimp came out into his mouth and he said, "Look, I took a bite of the shrimp and the whole chicken came out of it":)

I've been really doing well with this "cohabitation" we've been doing with these brown recluse.... okay, so I've only been doing well because we hadn't seen anymore. Well today was over the top... I was on my bed with Andrew and guess what I see crawling... yep, a brown recluse... how scary! I killed it, they're fast little boogers. I am a little flipped out by it all. While I was running around the house trying to clean every crack and corner, Cameron was laying down little Miss Piper. Where did he lay her down, you ask.... OUR BED!!! WHAT??????? Craziness!!
Well, I'm off to bed... wish me luck!! (I feel like I'm part of a horror movie with some really scary music playing in the background)

One of my biggest fears has come true...

I am so terrified of spiders. I think every spider I see is a black widow, tarantula or brown recluse:). Cam always thinks I'm ridiculous. Well, I killed a spider the other day that I really thought was a brown recluse but I threw it away so I couldn't show him. Our bug guy was scheduled to come today and Cam told me right before we go to bed that he has a couple of spiders for the bug guy to look at to see if they are brown recluse!!! AAAAAHHHHH!! Needless to say, I literally didn't sleep at all. I kept thinking spiders were in our sheets. Well, the bug guy confirmed that we do have brown recluse. I'm sooo scared. Spiders just paralyze me with fear!! And the boys have been playing in every dark, undisturbed place we have today.. like they're just trying to get bit!! Cam, trying to make it better sends me this from Wikipedia "this spider is not aggressive and usually bites only when pressed against the skin, such as when tangled up within clothes, bath towels, or in bedding"... Is he crazy, that only made it worst!! Now I'm horrified to get in bed or dry off with a towel.
