Around here...

Things have been good around here. I haven't blogged much b/c we've been busy bees. We've been really enjoying spending time together intentionally, not out of guilt or duty but purely b/c we all really like each other:) The boys and I are 3/4 of the way through Pilgrim's Progress and thoroughly enjoying it. We have a devo time at meal time and it's always a really special time. Cameron and I haven't missed a day yet in our Bible reading. I'm not saying any of this stuff to brag on me but to brag on HIM. It's definitely with His help that we've been able to enjoy each other and relax in the here and now. Where are we in our adoption process? We are now NUMBER..... (and forgive all the pics, they are all iPhone pics:)
that's number 43, in case you couldn't tell;)
What does that mean? Well, we are #43 on the referral list. Soooo.. 42 folks ahead of us to get a referral before we find out who Joleigh is. We've asked for 6 months to 2.5 years. There were 16 referrals in Feb, 18 in March and so far only 8 in April so it's anybody's guess at how long we'll be waiting.

We took the kids to The Wonder Place AND Chucke Cheese the other day and Piper
fell in love with "the Bear". We tried to tell her it was a mouse and she kept saying, "No, it's not, it's a bear"
Can collecting is going GREAT! We've raised over $1400 in just about 5 months. We have a new way of crushing cans, too... The Wallace Monster Highlander Rally:) the kids LOVE it!

We went to the park yesterday after dinner and Andrew used
some mad skills to climb the tree:)
... and that's about it. We've just been having fun enjoying each other and learning more about HIM. 27 school days until summertime:) VERY excited about that.. my special education due process paperwork is about to be the death of me. Well, maybe it will be proctoring EOC test but one or the other will surely send me to an insane asylum.
